The instructions are good, it did come with a plastic base instead of a wooden one. I missed the step of tapping on the bucket to prevent air bubbles. So that’s on me. It did take longer than 3-5 minutes for the molding powder mixture to actually set. We had to wait approximately 15 minutes. So make sure you find a comfortable position. It can be messy. It was a fun experience that I hope to do again soon.

I'm not exactly sure what one this one was but they was all almost the same anyways. Make sure that you just slice the mold with a butter knife just a little bit then rip it from there or do a slow cut rip pattern to prevent hitting the statue. Pour the casting half way into the mold tilt the bucket and tap the side to prevent bubbles then pour the rest still tapping on the sides. I've done it a few times as you can tell

This is the perfect casting kit. It comes with everything you need to cast a nice sculpture.I will admit, the instructions are a bit confusing. I had to read them several times, to be absolutely sure what to do, because once you add the casting powder into the water, you have no more than 2 minutes to mix it and then no more than 30 seconds to get your hands in the mold.

My gf and I haven't had the chance to actually do this yet, but I'll add to my review as soon as we do.Reading the instructions, it seems easy enough, so hopefully we get a good result the first time!

So this is a very cool set and definitely gives you everything you need to create a sculpture of your baby's hand or foot. I got this particular set to do it with my niece. I don't have a picture because my first attempt did not turn out properly unfortunately she would not stop moving and kept moving her hand in and out. So we decided to wait and try to use the second half of this set to do it again when maybe she's sleeping and isn't going to be so active.

The creation of this sculpture was a very interesting time. The most understandable instructions. Even a child will understand this. This set can be a great gift for any occasion. The only thing is, because my husband works in construction, we use a mixer and a drill to mix the mixture. It's a miracle to create your own hand sculptures at home.

This kit was easy to use. Basically just follow the instructions. There's even a test batch to use beforehand so you can get used to it. Everything you need is in the box except water and your baby's hand/foot.

A lot of steps to follow but easier than you would think. The included instructions is helpful and simple to understand. It comes with white and gold paint and everything else you need down to the stirring sticks. Best for newborns but says you can use up to 9 months of age.Mine came out a little sloppy but I had a wiggly baby. It does set pretty quick and also cleans up easy. All ingredients are safe and non irritating on sensitive skin.A fun craft project and treasured keepsake!

Got this today and unpacked it and read all the instructions. This is on my bucket list to do!!! Now I finally got the kit and I just got to do it. But, first I gotta talk my husband into participating. I think this is the coolest concept and can't wait to create a sculpture of our hands!

This was my first time trying something like this. Instructions are easy to follow and the entire process doesn't take that long to do. You do need to wait 40 minutes for it to dry. The kit comes with paint but I decided to leave it has it easy. You can see every detail on the hands. It's not messy to prepare or take off hands. Great for any family.

Very easy to use and my kids enjoyed it. I would recommend having another bucket to help with mixing.

This kit comes with everything, (except water) needed to preserve the smallness of a babies precious hands or feet. I love that it included a test set as well so it's easy to practice before mixing the entire batch. Everything turned out great.

This worked so much better than I thought it would! The amount of detail is astounding! Every detail of my and my wife's hands were picked up by the mold, right down to the hair pores on the back of my hand and the tiny crisscrossing pattern of my skin. There were little "pimples" covering the mold when it came out but those were easily flicked off by the wooden picks provided. My wife and I had so much fun doing this and I absolutely recommend this product.

Very nice and fun activity! It was easy to mix with the wood dowels. Just have to follow the easy instructions and it’s done quickly. Was really surprised at how much detail actually comes out of this! So neat! Turned out very nice! Highly recommended!

My grandson and I tried this casting kit out and he had so much fun doing it with me . The instructions are clear and the kit comes with everything you need. Our cast came out with so much detail I can’t stop admiring it.
